The main directions of the Organization’s activity are as follows: research and development, implementation of sustainable development activities, training, education and awareness building in sustainable agriculture, environment protection, rural development and sustainable community development. We develop and implement strategies, action plans and programs in rural development, where special attention is paid to issues relating to climate risk, desertification, climate resilience; water, soil and biodiversity conservation, healthy lifestyle, local governance, etc. NGO BIOS developed and published over 60 publications. Search and dissemination of environmentally friendly practices, preservation and rational use of resources is an important area of NGO BIOS work. It employs not only local material but also international experience.
