Panos Institute Southern Africa is independent regional information, media and communication for development NGO founded in 1996.
Panos Southern Africa’s (PSAf) strategic goal is ‘A southern Africa community that is informed, engaged and empowered to drive development’.
To achieve this vision, PSAf is programmatically structured along seven key themes, namely: Media Development and Information and Communication Technologies; Environment and Natural Resources Management; HIV and AIDS; Health; Governance and Development; Vulnerable Groups; and Management, Coordination and Strategic Initiatives.
